Epiphany Service Hour Program

What is the program?
The service hour program requires all Epiphany Grade School parents to volunteer at school. The current service hour period runs from May 1, 2024, to April 30, 2025.

Why does Epiphany have a service hour program?

  • Encourage greater participation by all parents.

  • Tap into the talents of parents.

  • Create opportunities for students and teachers.

How do I record my hours? 

  • Sign up one time to record your service hours online:

  • Please note that you cannot record hours online until you sign up via email first.

  • The website contains a list of parent-approved activities that count for service hours.

  • Continue to record hours beyond your required hours so we can evaluate the program’s requirements each year and award incentives.

    •  45 hours – Epiphany Bag

    •  90 hours – Epiphany T-Shirt

    • 150 hours – Family Athletic Pass

    • 300 hours – 2 Epiphany Auction Tickets

What are my Requirements?

  • Families with children in grades K-8 are required to participate in this program.

  • Two-parent families are required to volunteer 15 hours. Single-parent families are required to volunteer 8 hours. Please record ALL of your hours.

  • If a family does not fulfill their service hour requirement, they will be charged $20 per hour not completed by April 30, 2025.

  • To complete service hours while children are present, you must complete Safe Environment Training at https://peoria.cmgconnect.org.

What is the voluntary President’s Volunteer Service Award (PVSA) program?

  • Premiere volunteer awards program encouraging citizens to live a life of service through presidential gratitude and national recognition.

  • Parents, you may earn an individual award based on hours recorded on the website https://servicehours.online/. You do not have to do anything extra!

  • Students - Grades kindergarten (must be age 5 to start earning hours) through 8th grade can volunteer, submit their hours, and earn awards, too! Students can earn service hours for anything on the parent-approved list, such as altar serving and volunteer work outside of Epiphany. Hours must be unpaid and for a non-relative.
